As informatization and intellectualization continue to advance, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) has become an essential requirement for ensuring stable electronic equipment operation and information security. Electromagnetic shielding Glass, a key functional material, is specifically designed for all viewing windows requiring EMC compliance, and it plays an indispensable role in addressing electromagnetic interference and information leakage between computer systems and equipment.
In simple terms, electromagnetic shielding glass is a type of functional glass that integrates shielding performance and light transmission. Through professional shielding technology, it blocks electromagnetic waves, effectively suppresses electromagnetic radiation, prevents information leakage, and ensures stable electronic equipment operation—making it particularly suitable for fields with strict EMC requirements, including the military and high-end industrial sectors.
As a core supporting material for military applications, it is widely used in digital, text, and image display windows of military communication equipment and military electronic instruments, as well as windows of military inspection communication vehicles. It ensures the stable operation of military electronic equipment and control systems, and provides strong protection for military information security.
Currently, our electromagnetic shielding glass products are divided into three main categories, each with unique characteristics to meet the diverse needs of different application scenarios:
Coated Shielding Glass (ITO Conductive Glass)
Also known as ITO conductive glass, this product is manufactured by applying a conductive layer to the surface of ordinary glass through a special process. We typically use single-side coating; double-side coating is available for applications with higher performance requirements. It offers a light transmittance of over 85%, delivering high-fidelity, high-definition visual effects. Single-side coating provides approximately 20dB of shielding effectiveness, while double-side coating can reach 30-40dB—making it ideal for scenarios where high light transmittance is a higher priority than extremely high shielding performance.
Wire Mesh Shielding Glass
This glass is produced by laminating two (or more) layers of organic or inorganic glass with a specially treated alloy shielding mesh under high temperature and pressure, delivering excellent shielding effectiveness. We offer multiple edge processing options: U-shaped copper foil wrapping, mesh margin leaving, mesh margin with copper foil wrapping, and conductive silver paste brushing around the edges. Among these, "mesh margin with copper foil wrapping" is our patented technology, which effectively enhances both shielding effectiveness and connection reliability. Common specifications include 100, 132, 165, and 250 mesh.
Film Mesh Shielding Glass
As a new type of shielding material, it is made by attaching ultra-fine alloy mesh to a PET substrate through a special process. It offers high shielding effectiveness, high light transmittance, and high definition, and rarely produces moiré patterns—significantly improving the viewing experience. Compared with traditional wire mesh shielding glass, it features a more optimized structure, with a minimum thickness of 0.65mm, making it an ideal choice for equipment with strict thinness and lightness requirements.
